Elegance of Spring - Part 5

 ......continued from Part 4

Monday, May 3 - Sunday, May 9

Another week has passed, and I didn't manage to complete enough stitching to justify a photo. Life's other commitments, such as out-of-town visitors and a milestone birthday celebration for a family member, took priority.

Monday, May 10 - Sunday, May 16

I had high hopes of achieving more this week. While spring is a delightful season, it can also be quite hectic. With numerous other activities requiring my attention, cross stitching took a backseat. The lovely weather this past week compelled me to step outside and relish nature in all its glory. I did manage to squeeze in some stitching time. My goal for next week is to finish the right side of the project, with the aim of completing the entire project by the end of this month.

Monday, May 24 - Sunday, May 30

Another week has passed without any time for cross-stitching—let’s see how next week unfolds. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to complete the project by the end of the month as I had originally hoped.

Monday, May 31 - Sunday, June 6

I finally found some time to sit down and enjoy some cross-stitching. I'm not sure when I'll complete this project, as summer tends to be so hectic with traveling, visiting friends, gardening, and simply soaking up the sun. Recently, we’ve had a bit more rain, which is the only reason I’ve been able to make progress on my project. I truly love the warm weather and sunshine, so I strive to spend as much time outdoors as possible. I'm nearing completion of the right-hand side of the piece; I just need to finish the stems of the poppies before I move on to the other side. Hopefully, I'll find an hour or two to dedicate to it in the coming week.
